OUR STORY

Dany and Radek were born in 1991, more than 10,000 kilometers apart. Radek grew up in post-communist Prague, while Dany was raised in the lush state of Chiapas in southern Mexico. However, destiny had different plans for these two adventurers.

After several years of study, Radek decided it was time for a change and chose to study abroad for a semester. Europe seemed too boring, so he set his sights on Mexico. Little did he know that he was about to discover more than just tacos and tequila: he was about to find the love of his life.

On the other hand, Dany had already finished her university studies in Guadalajara, but she stayed connected to the university scene through her friends. One of those friends introduced her to Radek, and they met for the first time at her house. Dany arrived elegantly dressed in clothes from her family’s fashion boutique, Pippa, while Radek showed up in shorts with a small bottle of tequila in hand.

What did they talk about in their first conversation?

About Prague and life in Europe.

They began to hang out with mutual friends, and as time went on, it became clear that they liked each other. Radek, true to his nature, was overthinking everything, so Dany sparked her Mexican fire and made the first move. They spent a magical last month in Mexico and even visited Cuba together, falling deeply in love.

When Radek returned to Prague, they couldn’t stop thinking about each other and made long-distance calls almost every day. Radek visited Dany again in Mexico, and she spent five weeks with him in Prague.

Eventually, Dany made the brave decision to leave Mexico and move to Prague to be with Radek. This bold move meant facing numerous cultural and personal challenges, and it also put their relationship to the test. However, these challenges taught them to work as a team and support each other.

Despite the bumps along the way, they explored the world and other cultures together, strengthening their bond as a couple. After years together, they realized they couldn't imagine life without each other. This time, Radek took the initiative and proposed to Dany on the romantic hill of Petřín in Prague, accompanied by a group of mariachis.

And guess what?

She said yes!
